Only works with the best subcontractors and is constantly watching that they stay on schedule. Always very cost conscience! I have recommended him to other friends and family members as well! Great Builder
Mike did a fantastic job with the construction of our home. He is a very patient guy, knowing that most homeowners are building a home for the first time, and worked with us to help manage all of the various options and ideas. Because of his great work and dedication to his jobs, he was busy, but when Mike was on the job site and working with us, he really focused on our house and spent as much time as we needed to answer all of our questions and discuss all of the aspects of the job. Mike also did an excellent job managing the requirements of our village, inspections, etc. such that we, as homeowners, did not have to be involved at all in any of the headaches that go along with that process. Our house was built within a reasonable timeframe and no surprises on the cost side. We really love our house and would highly recommend Michael Carey Custom Homes.

Michael Carey Custom Homes remodeled our kitchen and living room and we love it. They came in on time and the price was fair. It took approximately three weeks from beginning to end!! I would definitely use them again if we ever do any other remodeling to our house.

Did an addition to our home with Mike. He was the easiest contractor to work with and his subs were all wonderful to work with as well. Have had him back to do other projects, and will continue to do so. His work is great, and Mike is also helpful with making suggestions. We have worked with Mike Carey extensively over the last two and a half years. He managed the construction of a mother-in-law suite in our home (kitchen, bath, bedroom, garage) and has since completed two smaller renovation projects as well (two new bathrooms).
